“My family has a long history of serving Tulsa as small business owners,” said Mr. Walker. “For over 25 years, my mother has operated Evelyn’s Soul Food, and I am honored have continue the legacy with my daughters operating Wanda J’s in the Historic Greenwood District. As we have worked to contribute to the economic growth of Tulsa, I know I can do more to secure Tulsa’s future for, not only my family, but all Tulsans. As a local, small business owner, I will use my experience to drive Tulsa’s economic growth and create long-term sustainable strategies. I look forward to further sharing my ideas with residents of District 5 and all Tulsans this Thursday and over the next six months.”
