The “Today” show’s Al Roker, Dylan Dryer and Sheinelle Jones on Friday appeared in front of a live audience of hundreds at Guthrie Green, an open-air event space downtown. They celebrated Tulsa’s culture, businesses and local celebrity chefs.

Members of the College of the Muscogee Nation arrived at the “Today” show taping at 3:30am Friday. Mayor Monroe Nichols appears on air with the cast and quizzes them on their Tulsa knowledge. Varsity cheerleaders from Booker T. Washington High School were joined by mascots from around the state. Olivia Jordan, the Oklahoman who was crowned Miss USA in 2015, highlights local Tulsa brands.
