Lockett is being honored for his play on the field as well as his work off of it, specifically his Light It Up Foundation, which helps Black communities in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
With the exception of Bobby Wagner – who almost single-handedly beat his former team on Sunday – Lockett is the classiest player to come along during the Pete Carroll era. He’s carried himself with nothing but grace and has always represented the team well.
Through 12 games in 2022, Lockett has posted 66 catches, 836 receiving yards and scored seven touchdowns.
