The Booker T. Washington Class of 1968 55th Class Reunion Set To Honor Class Veterans

The Booker T. Washington and the Mighty Class of 1968, 55th Class Reunion is honoring our class Veterans on Friday, September 29, 11:00am-12:00n at the Rudisill Library located at 1520 North Hartford. This is a free event. Lemmel ‘Red’ Fields Navy, Ship’s Serviceman a 1968 graduate is among the list of honored Veterans and will be introducing the guest speaker, Robert A. Marshall. Marshall is a Purple Heart recipient and a member of the Booker T Washington class of 1963. The Booker T. Washington High School Color Guard 2023 will open the program by posting the colors. Jack Henderson, former District 1 city council member is among Veterans being honored. Honoring our Veterans is a free event and open to the public.
Tickets for the class dance, “Harlem Nights ” to be held Saturday from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am at the Greenwood Cultural Center, 322 North Greenwood. Tickets for the dance can be purchased at this event.
