Founder of the Terence Crutcher Foundation, Dr. Tiffany Crutcher has been appointed to the Oklahomans for Criminal Justice Reform (OCJR) Board. Led by former House Speaker Kris Steele, Oklahomans for Criminal Justice Reform is a coalition of business and community leaders, law enforcement experts, and advocates across the state. In 2016, OCJR lead the “Yes on 780 and 781” initiative. The Coalition helped to pass ballot measures that reclassified drug possession as a misdemeanor and reinvested savings in alternatives and treatment. Oklahoma voters overwhelmingly supported these common sense reforms that make our community safer by addressing the root causes of crime and helping return people who have committed low-level offenses to productive lives.
We are committed to passing continued reforms in Oklahoma that will safely reduce Oklahoma’s bloated prison population, save taxpayer dollars, reinvest in alternatives, and keep families together.
