Trisha W. White is a native of Tulsa, Okla.  She is the youngest child born of the late Rev. Leon White, Sr. (White’s Record Shop), and the late Katherine Thompson-Dean.  Trisha is a proud sibling of what is known as one of Tulsa’s largest families the Oliver and the White families.

She currently holds an Oklahoma State License as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Therapist and works for Metamorphosis Counseling Services, PLLC.  Trisha is the proud mother of five children: Christopher, Ashlie, Victoria, Sadie, and Desiree’ and the proud grandmother of five grandchildren: Keanu, Ja’Lon, Zachariah, Ma’Kayla, and Malik.

Although, years ago, Trisha, an independent writer, had been told she should be writing for someone else and she should write a book, she never planned to actually write one.  On March 1, 2017, Trisha was awakened at 2:05 a.m. and inspired to write her story, and she did. The story tells of her good times and the trials and tribulations endured during relationships and interactions with parents, siblings, children, family members, and others.

The book is titled “Time To Change: My World, My Story.  It is the true story of her life from childhood through March 2, 2017 at 2:05 a.m. The book depicts real life situations when interacting with the “agendas” of others.  Readers can be assured that some will laugh, some will cry, some will be angry, and some will run crazy with emotions. However, in the end all will change forever!

The book is scheduled to released on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2017. It may be purchased on www.amazon.com and gethelptulsa.com.
