RED, WHITE AND BOOM IN OWASSO
The official city of Owasso-sponsored Red, White and Boom fires off on Friday night at the Owasso Golf and Athletic Club.
Details: The Red, White and Boom fireworks show begins at dusk on Friday, so arrive early to the viewing site being established in a parking lot on the southeast corner of 86th Street and 126th St. North. The parking lot at Owasso High School is also a prime viewing spot, as are the lots for nearby retail outlets.

KIEFER FIREWORKS
Details: The fun kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday with food vendors at Kiefer City Park, live music and a fireworks show at dark. Parking is available at Kiefer High School, with buses to transport guests back and forth.

CLAREMORE’S FISHING AND FIREWORKS
Details: A kids fishing derby at Claremore Lake Park will start Saturday at 7 a.m. (the park will open at 6 a.m.), with children ages 4-12 invited to participate. The park closes at noon following the fishing derby and reopens at 6 p.m. Saturday at Claremore Lake Park, East Blue Starr Drive, Claremore (about two miles east of Highway 66 on Blue Starr Drive).

JENKS CELEBRATES ALL DAY
Jenks hosts multiple events in honor of Independence Day, beginning with Jenks America Freedom Fest, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on Main Street.
The Oklahoma Aquarium offers Fish and Fireworks: Get half-price admission after 6:30 p.m. and sit out back for one of the best views of fireworks at RiverWalk Crossing.
Los Cabos Boomfest takes place at RiverWalk Crossing from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The RiverWalk Crossing Summer Concert Series features a kids zone beginning at 5 p.m. and the Fabulous Mid Life Crisis band performing classic rock from 7-9 p.m. ahead of fireworks that will start at dark.
