Brandee stated: “I come from a family of athletes and have been doing track since I was 7 years old. Every single year I have made it to either regionals or nationals but didn’t get a chance to go. Since middle school, I’ve learned to manage my athletics and academic. My parents have already been through what I’m going through and they are my biggest supporters. My parents are who made me who I am today and I thank God for them.

As far as the future is concerned Brandee sad: “My goal is to be the best in women’s track the world has ever seen. I love competition and I’m a very hard worker inside the class room and outside. I want to also graduate with my degree in the field of Kinesiology. I would love to help fellow athletes one day in coaching or physical therapy. With track, that can help me further my goals. By going through the whole experience, I know what to look forward to in what an athlete needs to do to be where they want to be.
