President-elect Donald Trump will reportedly mark the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday by meeting with the namesake son of America’s most brilliant civil rights icon.

As per usual, the meeting is to take place at New York City’s Trump Tower on Monday afternoon, where the incoming POTUS can control the narrative.

A Trump spokesperson confirmed the meeting on Monday morning saying the two will discuss King’s “legacy.”

“Today we observe the birthday of #MartinLutherKing,” tweeted Trump transition spokesman Sean Spicer. “@realDonaldTrump will meet with Martin Luther King III to discuss his legacy #MLKDAY”

There were reports that Trump was going to spend the day at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., but according to reports from the museum, the visit was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts.

Trump, who had been involved in a very public spat with a King cohort, Rep. John Lewis, during the holiday weekend, had nothing but kind words for King on Monday morning.

“Celebrate Martin Luther King Day and all of the many wonderful things that he stood for,” Trump wrote. “Honor him for being the great man that he was!”
