TULSA, OK MARCH 22, 2018 — From director Joshua Marston, “Come Sunday ” stars Academy Award-nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lakeith Stanfield, Jason Segel, Condola Rashad, and Martin Sheen. It’s the moving story of Bishop Carlton Pearson’s personal journey from leading a religious congregation to being labeled a heretic.

“‘Come Sunday’ is based on an adaptation of one of the most difficult, challenging, and unexpected phases and stages of my ministry life and spiritual growth,” Rev. Carlton D. Pearson said. “I have expanded even beyond what is portrayed in the film and will continue to expand and evolve as long as I live.”

Bishop Carlton Pearson preaches the fundamentalist gospel to thousands of congregants at his Higher Dimensions Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He’s the pride and joy of his spiritual father, Oral Roberts, until Pearson receives an epiphany — there is no Hell. Pearson is deemed a national heretic and loses everything with his new understanding of faith, “The Gospel of Inclusion.”
