Get ready to rock ’n’ roll with TYPros at the 2017 Boomtown Awards, benefiting the TYPros Foundation! This year’s event will celebrate the early days of rock ‘n’ roll with a night of live music and great food as we honor the people and organizations who make Tulsa rock.

For the past eleven years, TYPros has established itself as an organization that truly cares about Tulsa. From voter engagement to Bring it to Tulsa, TYPros’ numerous initiatives and accomplishments have greatly benefited the Tulsa community. To expand the impact of TYPros, the TYPros Foundation was created to continue making Tulsa awesome and is already doing exactly that. Last year, the foundation supported startups like Kitchen 66 and provided funding for the new Tulsa Flag project. Their commitment to Tulsa’s beautification and historical preservation was proven when they chose to support new public art in parking lots around the city and Rainy Day Poetry. The renovations to the Curtis house, which was featured in the 1983 Francis Ford Coppola film based on the book The Outsiders, written by Tulsan S.E. Hinton, has received national attention as it is converted into a museum.
