TALK OF GREENWOOD

Native Tulsans Sabrina and Kenny Monday are scheduled for a book signing of their new book, “The Gold Standard: Winning Ways with the Mondays,” at the Greenwood Cultural Center, 322 N. Greenwood Ave., on April 5, 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

As reported in The Oklahoma Eagle on July 19, 2024, the book is a collection of real-life experiences and insights on what it means to be goal-getters who are bold, focused, and intentional, according to the Mondays.

Sabrina is a top Independent National Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Kenny, the first African American to win a gold medal in Olympic wrestling and a multi-awarded winning wrestler on the national and global stages, is the head wrestling coach at Morgan State University. Morgan State is home to the nation’s only HBCU D1 wrestling program.
