Los Angeles Born Attorney Alexis Gardner Prepared To Impact The City Of Tulsa

Alexis Gardner received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (UCLA) where she specialized in Critical Race Studies, International & Comparative Law and Public Interest Law & Policy. Alexis also has dual master’s degrees in Rhetoric for Social Change and Africana Studies. Alexis has experience working for both the San Diego County Public Defender and the Federal Defenders of San Diego Inc.

A Project of the Bronx Defenders originally brought Alexis to Tulsa to work with women involved in the criminal justice system as well as in family defense, representing women facing termination of their parental rights due to Department of Human Services involvement.

Alexis stated, “I want to enhance the economic atmosphere as much as I can in Tulsa, by providing effective and affordable legal representation to people in need”.  Alexis has been in Tulsa since November and is determined to have both a positive and powerful impact the legal climate of the city.

Alexis has launched her own successful practice, and has been appointed under court contracts to defend the indigent accused in both family deprived and criminal court. Alexis is an Oklahoma Bar Association 2017- 2018 Leadership Academy Candidate.
