Metro Link and Youth Services of Tulsa are partnering to provide school supplies for students for the upcoming academic year. The “Stuff the Bus” Donation Drive is scheduled at YST’s offices, 311 S. Madison Ave., on July 25 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The community is invited to join by donating essential school supplies. The organizations are seeking the following donated items: backpacks, paper, pencils, pens, folders with pockets, journals, small hand sanitizers, crayons, erasers, notebook spirals, dictionaries, and notebook binders.
A spokesperson for MetroLink Tulsa said, “These supplies are crucial for helping students succeed in their educational endeavors. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of local students, ensuring they have the tools they need for a successful school year,” said Scott Marr, general manager of MetroLink Tulsa.
MetroLink wants to remind the community that all students and riders under the age of 18 ride MetroLink Tulsa for free with a valid I.D. Participating local universities also ride free. Students must check with their respective school’s counselor for more information. MetroLink’s initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and accessibility for all.
