Beginning this Saturday, July 17, Gathering Place will host its ONE Gas Concert Series on the QuikTrip Great Lawn from 5-8 p.m. The free concert series will kick off with performances featuring local artists OmaleyB, Amber Owens & Co., and Damion Shade.
Gathering Place, in partnership with ONE Gas, will host monthly Saturday concerts from July through November. Upcoming concerts will take place on August 21, September 18, October 23, and November 13. All performances feature local musicians including The 1921 Black Wall Street Music Project, Eric Himan, Steve Liddell Band, Mark Gibson Trio, and more area artists.
“Live music plays an important role in Tulsa’s history and our culture, so we want to support our local music scene here at Gathering Place through live concerts that are free to the public,” says Andrea Leitch, Vice President of Marketing at Gathering Place. “We are excited to kick off our Concert Series in partnership with ONE Gas and showcase our city’s premier musicians after a year without live music concerts at the Park.”
The safety of guests remains the Park’s top priority and Gathering Place continues to follow the recommendations provided by the CDC and the Tulsa Health Department. While face masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests, social distancing and face masks are required in indoor spaces for guests who are not fully vaccinated. Sanitization stations and signage for social distancing will also remain in place at the event.
The ONE Gas Concert Series is free for all ages, and guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets to watch the concerts.
