The City of Tulsa’s face mask ordinance will expire on April 30, however Tulsa Transit riders will still need to comply with the Federal mask mandate.
The Transportation Security Administration law states that mask are required on all Tulsa Transit buses and facilities. The mask must cover both the mouth and nose.
This policy along with Tulsa Transit’s current social distancing policy will be in effect until further guidance from the Transportation Security Administration & Centers for Disease Control.
“We will continue to follow the federal guidelines for masks and continue social distancing on our buses,” said Ted Rieck, Tulsa Transit general manager. “The safety of our riders and drivers are our top priority. We will continue to follow the TSA and CDC guidelines.”
