The Tulsa County Industrial Authority (TCIA) filed a lawsuit Nov. 16 to terminate its lease with the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, Inc. (Jazz Hall).
“TCIA is the landlord and has a lease with the Jazz Hall,” said John Weidman, TCIA attorney and Partner at Hilborne & Weidman. “The Jazz Hall entity has defaulted on its lease by failure to pay the obligations required by the lease.”
The suit is filed in Tulsa County District Court, and a hearing on the issue of terminating the lease and Jazz Hall’s right of possession is scheduled to be heard in accordance with local court rules in Tulsa County Small Claims Court on Dec. 3 at 2pm.
