KIDZ BIZZ Konference 2019: ‘Coming Home with A Purpose’ is a collaboration between community contributors to enlist the support of Booker T. Washington High School Alumni into community service opportunities during Homecoming weekend. Tulsa youth are targeted as mentees to professionals during workshops over various areas that include coding and S.T.E.M., fitness and health, financial literacy, kidpreneurship/entrepreneurship, money management, emotional Intelligence, wealth building, estate planning and more!

KIDZ BIZZ Konference 2019 aims to attract youth who have an interest, desire and passion to be business owners and features a Sowing Seeds of Success Business Pitch Challenge! Youth will be exposed to numerous business facets including advertising, marketing, retail merchandising, operations support and more! A one-year contract with BWS Liquid Lounge will be awarded to one middle or high school presenter who demonstrates synergy with the businesses’ vision and operations.

This year’s 2nd annual event is perfectly timed with Booker T. Washington’s Homecoming Celebration as well as BTW alumni class reunion festivities, which makes for a perfect storm of positivity. This year’s participants and supporters include Black Wall Street Liquid Lounge, One Tulsa, Kidz Bizz Konference and several BTW Alumni.

The event is scheduled for Saturday October 5, 2019 from 9AM-2PM. All activity will take place on the Historic Black Wall Street at 10 N. Greenwood. All registration fees were sponsored by community contributors, making this a no-cost event for families. If your child (2nd-12th grade) has not registered for KIDZ BIZZ Konference, you may request a registration form at kidzbizzkonference@gmail.com
