Mack’s Wings, a neighborhood staple in north Tulsa, opened its second location in south Tulsa this week.
Located at 1660 E 71st Street, the new location is a part of the Bridgepointe shopping center, giving residents in the southern part of the city more access to its signature dry rub wings.

“(There’s) double the traffic due to the location,” Kelisha Maxwell, store manager told the Eagle. “(With) as many people that’s [living in south Tulsa] it’s an easier commute for a lot of people that were coming out north.”
Michael and Kimberly Manning opened the original location in 2019 on 782 E Pine Street. Maxwell, who has been with Mack’s Wings since its inception, said the north side shop has become more difficult to manage due to overflow, which increased customer wait times.
Malcolm Hardridge, a store cashier, said the new location has given him flexibility in both his commute and work schedule.
“It’s just busy over there, with the place already established,” Hardridge said. “It was super busy from open to close. I would work doubles, some days throughout the week, and it was super busy.”
On Thursday, Edward Melville, a south Tulsa resident, checked out the new location for the first time.
Melville heard of the store two years ago, but only had the chance to try it a few times due to the distance. Melville said his family decides on where they want to eat based on the length of the drive. Now that there is a second shop, they are much more likely to visit.
“With Mack’s right here, I don’t even have to get out on 71st I can just stay in the neighborhood and come back and forth.”
Mack’s offers lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, salt and pepper, honey garlic, honey sriracha and its own Oklahoma dry rub. The store is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
