Changes to rules since 2020 in Oklahoma

  • Prior to the 2020 election, Oklahoma required that mail ballots include a signature from a notary. That requirement was waived in 2020 and allowed voters to provide a copy of their ID instead. The original notary requirement has been reinstated for 2022. This year, a voter casting a mail ballot will be required to get their ballot notarized.
