Tyler Lockett Tulsa Christmas Party For Kids Set

Seattle Seahawk wide-receiver Tyler Lockett will hold his fifth (5th) annual Christmas Party for kids on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Gilcrease Hills Clubhouse 1919 West Seminole Street in Tulsa.

This year Tyler’s “Light It Up Foundation” will host nineteen (19) families and forty-four (44) kids recommended by local churches and many other organizations, including Soul Survivor Inc.  Each family will receive a complete Christmas Dinner Basket that feed a family of eight (8).  Kids will receive multiple gifts for the Christmas tree, backpacks, shoes, hoodies, warm-ups, and many other items. Each family will also receive a twenty-five (25) gift card for each kid and one for the family.  Example, a family with five kids will receive one-hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) and another twenty-five dollars ($25) for the family.

Tyler grew up in Tulsa and was a star athlete for the Booker T. Washington Hornets. He attended Kansas State University where he was a consensus All-American in football. He holds about every receiving record at the University.

Recently Tyler was a nominee for Walter Payton Man of the Year Award and a nominee for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. He is having another Pro Bowl year with sixty-two (62) receptions, one-thousand twenty-three (1,023) yards, and five (5) touchdowns. He became the second (2nd) player in Seattle Seahawk history to record three (3) consecutive one-thousand (1,000) yard seasons.  Tulsa’s own Pro Football Hall of Fame Steve Largent was the first.
