Oklahoma Board Of Education Passes Rules After Law Bans Critical Race Theory From Being Taught In Public Schools

The Oklahoma State Board of Education is weighing in on how HB 1775 and how it will be enforced in the classroom.

House Bill 1775 was signed into law and banned Oklahoma public schools from teaching certain concepts associated with “Critical Race Theory.”

Board members discussed recommendations given on how to apply the controversial law.

One member shared their opposition to the recommendations.
