We are very excited for the Call & Response Poster Project submissions we have received thus far and for those on their way. We’ve received posters from all age groups and are so excited about our upcoming exhibit. We’ve been moved and inspired by our community’s response to this call that we have decided to extend the deadline to October 10, 2020.
We thank all those who have already submitted a poster design. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Also, please know you are welcomed to submit more designs, so keep them coming!

as a surface and get to work on a chance to win the $1,000.00 cash prize.

The Greenwood Art Project has issued a citywide open call for submissions for the Call & Response Poster Project exhibit scheduled to open May 31, 2021. The Poster Project will “encourage every resident to be engaged in the centennial by participating in this community effort.” -Jerica Wortham (Project Manager-Greenwood Art Project )
We are seeking hundreds of original posters from Tulsa residents to be part of the exhibit. All poster submissions will be considered for the following prizes: first place – $1,000, second place – $500, and third place – $250.
Posters should address following themes: “The Legacy of Greenwood,” “Black Wall Street,” “Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921,” and “what Tulsa’s future should look like.”
All submissions will be accepted and will receive credit as part of the Call & Response exhibition.

Dimensions of 11 inches by 17 inches
