William Tisdale Appointed To Tulsa County Board Of Adjustment

Tulsa County Commissioner Stan Sallee has appointed William Tisdale to the Tulsa County Board of Adjustment effective Sept. 16.

“Mr. Tisdale is known throughout Tulsa County as a results-oriented and strategic leader who accomplishes positive outcomes in business and economic development,” said Sallee. “Appointing him to this board is a tremendous benefit to our citizens of Tulsa County. We appreciate William’s willingness to serve.”

With nearly 30 years of work throughout Tulsa County, Tisdale will bring his extensive experience to the planning process.

“I am honored to be appointed to the Board of Adjustment during such an exciting time of development and community engagement in Tulsa County,” said Tisdale. “I look forward to helping the Board make informed decisions to retain our current businesses and provide the citizens with planning decisions that will help everyone in Tulsa County.”

The Tulsa County Board of Adjustment hears appeals from the County Inspector, grants special exceptions and variances, and makes interpretations of zoning maps and text within unincorporated areas of the County.

When an application is filed, official public notice is provided, and nearby residents and neighborhood associations are informed. The Board reviews appropriate plans and development policies to formulate a case study and analysis.

An action summary and/or minutes are prepared after each meeting and sent to various County policy and administrative officials for their information and/or action as appropriate.

The Board meets the third Tuesday of every month at 1:30 p.m. at the Saint Francis Health System Room, Williams Center Tower I, 1 W. 3rd St. (unless otherwise specified).
