The City of Tulsa will require all employees at restaurants and bars to wear masks, Mayor G.T. Bynum announced Thursday.
Bynum announced the changes in a news conference as Tulsa County and the State of Oklahoma see COVID-19 cases continue to rise.
The city is also launching a safety program for businesses to develop plans to submit to the health department for approval.
Bynum said he won’t mandate masks for everyone in public places unless Dr. Bruce Dart of the Tulsa Health Department recommends it.
