Gathering Place will host Tulsa in Harmony – A night of Gospel, on Saturday, October 19, from 6-9:30 p.m. on the QuikTrip Great Lawn. Tulsa in Harmony will bring together national recording artists and community gospel choirs, lending their voices in one accord to sing of their hopes, faith, and aspirations for Tulsa. This free concert will feature Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter, Fred Hammond, as the headlining act.
“Tulsa in Harmony is going to be a congregation of community choirs, lending their voices in one accord, singing of their hopes and their faith and aspirations for a more unified Tulsa,” Tony Moore, Gathering Place Executive Director, said. “This is an inspirational night of music and praise where local and nationally acclaimed Gospel singers will gather together to share their love of music and gift of harmony at Gathering Place.”
Choir acts for Tulsa in Harmony include: The Voices of New J, ORU Souls A’Fire, Friendship Church Master’s Choir, Metropolitan Sanctuary Choir, and more.
In addition to world-class gospel music, guests can look forward to inspired food, a music video viewing and special guest appearance from social media sensation, DJ Pryor.
Tulsa in Harmony is free admission, no tickets or passes needed to attend.
