Homegoing Celebration is set for Willie Charles Lewis Willie C. Lewis, a 73-year-old veteran passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 16, 2019. His love knew no boundaries and positivity was a natural vibe he shared.

Willie was a Booker T. Washington Class of ’65 graduate, an Airforce Staff Sergeant Veteran, a retiree of Lowrance Electronics after more than 30 years of employment, a devoted Deacon and Trustee of St. Luke Baptist Church here in Tulsa, as well as an avid BTW Hornet and OU Sooner fan. He was blessed with a loving wife (Yvonne, deceased) and three loving children (Quinn, Corneta, Sundi).

Willie was the third born of nine children in Abbeville, Mississippi. He leaves behind 1 brother (Theroda) and 4 sisters (Maerine, Ana, Ada Pearl and Maggie), along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and really good friends that love him dearly. Now resting in perfect peace. He will truly be missed. Homegoing services will be Saturday June 22, 2019 at 2pm at St. Luke Baptist Church with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Tulsa.
