Tulsa, Oklahoma— April 22, 2019 — CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD, CWFF (Christian Workers for Fellowship) will be celebrating its annual convention over the next two years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The convention will celebrate its 127th year in 2019 with the theme of “Our Season of Refreshing”.
This year marks the first year the convention takes place under its newly elected leader, Chief Bishop Rex Waddell. “It is an honor to be blessed and serve as the Chief Bishop and bring forth new, innovative ideas to this year’s convention for attendees of all ages,” says Chief Bishop Waddell. “Come ready to be refreshed! This year will be both an informational and inspirational experience.”
With the election of its new Chief Bishop in July 2018, many in the congregation, as well as the Christian community nationwide, are curious about what this means for the organization and its events moving forward. “Chief Bishop brings a fresh, new perspective and optimism to the growing ministry” says Vice Chief Bishop Aaron Scruggs.
Whether you are young, old, single, or married with or without children living in Tulsa or surrounding areas, you and your family will be spiritually refreshed and empowered by the time you leave this convention. The convention activities will consist of educational workshops, fun excursions for children, and life-changing worship experiences including a gospel explosion concert starring national recording artist Kelontae Gavin.
