The public is invited to attend the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Sit-In Civil Rights Movement in Oklahoma City. The movement began when 13 children, under the leadership of the late Clara Luper, who protested segregation in public accommodations at Katz Drug Store in downtown Oklahoma City on August 19, 1958.
Participants of the Sit-In will be recognized at each scheduled event.

- Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Page-Woodson “Auditorium at the Douglass”, 600 N. High Ave., OKC (Program includes Dunjee All School Community Fellowship Choir, Clara Luper’s Play, and OETA Conversation with Clara Luper (excerpt)
- Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Fifth Street Baptist Church, 801 NE 5th, OKC. (Program includes Music and Keynote Speaker, Rev. Dr. Amos Brown, Pastor of Third Baptist Church, San Francisco, CA)
