Theatre North Wins The Outstanding Theater Production At The Tulsa Awards For Theatre Excellence

Theatre North won the Outstanding Theater Production at the Tulsa Awards for Theatre Excellence (TATE) for its 2018 production of August Wilson’s “Seven Guitars.”  The coveted award comes with a $10,000.00 prize.

Richie Goss won an award for his Scenic Design.  Reynada Robinson, Kaicee Mayo and Jerome Jones received awards for Outstanding Performances.  Jones also received another award for Outstanding Performance in the Theatre North production of “Zooman and the Sign”.

The cast also included Anthony Brinkley, Phetote Mshairi, John JD Davis, and Michelle Cullom.  Dr. Rodney L. Clark directed the production and Lynn Logan served as Assistant Director.  “I am speechless,” said Maybelle Wallace Theatre North’s Executive Director.  This is the first year that Theater North has received an award in the TATE’s 10 year existence.
