When Bishop Gary McIntosh first came over to Tulsa north to start Transformation Church, some clergy in the Tulsa north community became very upset. Some felt that the last thing the community needed was a white man coming over to save the black community from the black community. Despite the fact that, Bishop McIntosh brought a very diverse membership with him, still there we some, who were very displeased.
Despite the naysayers, McIntosh weathered the storms of ministry and, held fast until God told him to instill Pastors Michael and Natalie Todd as the Lead Pastors of Transformation Church in February 2015. They were entrusted with Transformation Church, after 15 years of operation Pastor Michael Todd a young, charismatic, energetic young man of color was elevated to Lead Pastor.
The Todd’s personal philosophy and driving passion is re-presenting God to the lost and found for transformation in Christ. They aspire to reach their community, city and world with the gospel presented in a relevant and progressive way. They’ve been married since 2010 and live in Tulsa with three beautiful children—their daughter, Isabella, their son, Michael Jr. and newborn daughter, Ava.
Something unique is happening at Transformation Church over the past 8 months membership has grown tremendously. Pastor Michael Todd has added another service to facilitate the over flow crowds, that have shown up consistently for service. Recently after a very non-traditional series on tithes and offerings in the church tilted “wait till I get my money right” over 250 members became tithers to the ministry.
Pastor’s Michael and Natalie Todd truly are in their season of being used to inspire all generations to restoration, transformation and, indoctrination into the body of Christ.
