I am State Representative Regina Goodwin and it is an honor to serve you and provide an update. During my first term, my House Bill 1357, the Oklahoma Caregiver Act was signed into law.
The next regular session will convene on February 5th, 2018, and here are the introduced bills: House Bill 1362 – Comprehensive Emergency Teacher Certification Data House Bill 3390 – Teacher Pay Increase House Bill 1360 – Clarifying Language for Felon Voting Rights Law House Bill 3391 – Mandates corrective action to increase participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises on Dept. of Transportation projects House Bill 1361 – No jail time for unpaid fees and fines House Bill 3392 – Bans driveway curbs in senior citizen housing to ensure safe access House Bill 3393 – Stops handcuffing of an incarcerated female during childbirth House Bill 3394 – Mandates Housing Contractor training in federal design, construction and accessibility standards WE are on the Move! Please come to our monthly Saturday meetings, “Dome to Home” held at the Westview Building on 3606 North MLK in Tulsa (drive to the back parking lot).
