On November 5, 2017, former Tulsan, Valerie E. (Jordan) Bell was licensed and ordained at Salem Bible Church in Atlanta, after the completion of her studies from the Salem’s School of Ministry.
She, and her family, joined Salem Bible Church, in March 1994, where she is under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus Jasper Williams, Jr., and Sr. Pastor Joseph l. Williams.
Valerie began serving in the music ministry, on the praise team, praise and worship leader, and a Spiritual advisor. She was also an instructor for, “Exploring God in Worship,” – Salem Bible Empowerment Institute, and she has served in several ministerial capacities.
Valerie was born, and raised in Tulsa, where she attended Booker T. Washington High School (BTW), and became Ms. Hornet for the Class of 1979. She, and her family reside in Atlanta, and it is there, where Valerie has now followed her father’s footsteps, and has accepted her calling into the ministry, and has joined the ministerial staff, at the Salem Bible Church, in Atlanta, GA.
Bell is the youngest, born to the late Reverend, and Mrs. LeRoy K. Jordan. Her father is the former Pastor of First Baptist Church, North Tulsa, Okla. Her siblings are Marilee (Jordan) Knox, and the late Duane Jordan. She is married to Clayton Bell, and they have two children, Byron Bell (Margo-daughter-in-law, & Cameron, and Carson- grandchildren), and Sarina Bell.
