What’s Up At Rudisill Library July 10-15:
- The Great Classics: Storytime with Tulsa Ballet, at Rudisill Library. Monday July 10, 12-1 p.m., for pre-school – elementary school. A Children’s Summer Reading Program event. Children will journey through the great ballets of the classical repertoire.
- Squishy Circuit– Presented by Tulsa Children’s Museum. Tuesday, July 11, 1-2 p.m., for tweens. A Teen/Tween Summer Reading Program event. Participants will learn about conductors and insulators, and discover how conductive dough and batteries can power LED lightbulbs, buzzers and simple motors. Class size is limited.
- Introduction to MS Word 2007– Wednesday July 12, 9-11 a.m., for adults. Learn how to use toolbars and menus, set margins, apply spell check, and preview, save and print documents. The Ellis Walker Woods Memorial Committee will meet on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 3 pm in room 108 on the campus of Oklahoma State University, Tulsa. Mrs. Capotla Dunn and Malcolm J. Dunn are Committee Chairpersons.
The Jeanne B. Goodwin Storytelling Festival. On Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from 10 – 11 a.m.., Rudisill Regional Library, will be hosting its annual Jeanne B. Goodwin Storytelling Festival. The festival is names as a tribute to the late Jeanne B. Goodwin, a lifelong educator and literacy champion. This year’s festival features musician/storyteller Reggie Harris. This event will be at the library, 1520 N. Hartford Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the Ancestral Hall, and is free and open to the public.
