There’s an old saying: the only stories with happy endings are those that haven’t ended yet.

Kanye and Jay-Z’s friendship has been the stuff of music fan’s dreams, but now we may have reached the breaking point. In recent days, it’s become extremely clear that these once-besties are in the middle of a massive feud that shows no signs of going away.

**JAY really didn’t say that anywhere on 4:44, but the internet seems to think so***

Let’s rewind to the Saint Pablo tour. Everyone remembers the mental breakdown ‘Ye had, but what you may not remember is that days before, Kanye ranted hard against Jay during a show for… well, it didn’t all make sense, but Mr. Kim Kardashian was clearly pissed.

Now, all of that story makes sense on its own, but it’s amplified by the recent drop of 4:44 (or so the media thinks). On his track “Kill Jay Z,” the rapper quite obviously calls out his old friend for the dramatic nonsense in the past year:

“I know people backstab you, I feel bad too/ But this fuck-everybody attitude ain’t natural/ But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe/ But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye/ You gave him 20 million without thinkin’/ He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin’?/ Fuck wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’/ But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”

So here we are, in the middle of a feud amongst former “brothers.” Who do you think is in the right? Jay calling out Kanye for his nonsense, or ‘Ye calling out Jay for screwing him in business?
