Tulsa Parks Pools to Open June 3, 5

Tulsa Parks’ pools will open for the 2017 season on June 3 and 5. The pool opening schedule is as follows:
● June 3 – Opening Day for Lacy Pool, 2134 N. Madison Pl.; and Reed Pool, 4233 S. Yukon Ave.
● June 5 – Opening Day for Whiteside Pool, 4013 S. Pittsburg Ave.

Berry Pool at 5002 N. Wheeling Ave. will open in approximately two weeks, as soon as it is fully staffed with lifeguards. Lifeguard applications are still being accepted. For more information and to fill out the application online, go to www.tulsaparks.org

Here are the pools’ regular schedules:
● Lacy Pool – noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday; closed Monday.
● Reed Pool – 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday; closed Monday.
● Whiteside Pool – noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday; closed Sunday.
● Berry Pool – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday; closed Sunday.

Admission to Lacy and Reed pools is $1 per person; children age 3 and younger are free. Admission is free for the Berry and Whiteside pools. Pool passes are on sale at Reed and Lacy pools or community centers. Season passes are $20 and 10-visit punch passes are $8.

Tulsa Parks’ water playgrounds and splash pads are already open for the summer and admission is free. Hours for the water playgrounds and splash pads are noon to 8 p.m. daily.

Additional hours of usage for water playgrounds and splash pads outside of normal operating hours can be purchased for $25 per hour on weekdays or $45 per hour on weekends. More information and additional usage request forms are available online at www.tulsaparks.org
