Anthony Mason is in his season for favor having just released his new CD project “The Leader Inside of You.” Mason is poised and anointed to surge to the forefront of gospel music. Anthony Mason has always been a musical phenomenon in Tulsa from the time he sang George Bensons “On Broadway” in a full white suit, with a white guitar, in his senior year at High Jenks at Tulsa’s Booker T. Washington High School in 1981. Anthony Mason has always been recognized among his peers at the top of his craft, especially when it comes to vocals, Mason is in a class all by himself.
The late Dr. Myles Monroe spoke of Mason saying, “Anthony Mason is a rare breed of emerging musicians and psalmist destined to leave a legacy for generations to come. He has been the voice for many national and international theme songs such as Bishop T.D. Jakes long running theme “The Potters Touch” which is currently heard daily, Pastor RJ Washington of Harvest Titus Dome Church currently seen weekly on BET and The WORD Network, Pastor R.A. Vernon’s theme entitled “Getting the Word Out” currently seen weekly on The WORD Network, State Farm Life Insurance commercials and several others. Tony penned the latest single for legendary songstress “Barbara Mason” best known for her smash hit “Yes I’m Ready” entitled, “Puzzle” which is produced by Tony for Starpower Entertainment.
Mason has recently released a video single entitled “Leader Inside of Me” which is beginning to create a buzz in the industry and several independent markets. It has reached #1 in top ten status on the Clarion Call Network (CCN.COM) also made its debut on the same network picked up by DIRECTV.
Tony is currently involved with many projects including a new single/video, and new music. Also from his most recent CD, “Discovery of a King,” some of the music is beginning to get recognized by industry greats such as NBC Universal.
Mason was featured as guest psalmist at the annual “For Men Only” men’s conference hosted by Bishop T.D. Jakes where he received rave reviews from world renowned author Dr. Myles Munroe, the late Dr. Zachary Tims, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Dr. I.V. Hilliard, and Dr. Jamal Bryant on his ministry performances.
