Former Greenwood Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Rueben Gant, has been named the Interim Executive Director for The John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation (JHFCR). Gant, previously Managing Principle Consultant for Resource Consulting Group Services, brings a lot of networking and program development skills into play as he embarks on this moment in his professional career.
The center’s work begins now with Dr. Franklin’s, lifelong devotion to scholarly analysis and social progress as a model, the JHFCR is developing a consortium of academic institutions, historical societies, and organizations devoted to equality, racial justice and social harmony to continue his legacy.
Jean Neal of the JHFCR stated, “We will continue to go forward with leadership and look forward to the future.”
